All teams will meet in a centrally located site in Maricopa County. Specific location to be determined.
Meeting 1 – May 4, 2016, 11:30am – 3:30pm. SRP Pera Club 1 E Continental Dr. Tempe, AZ 85281. Program kickoff and setting the stage.
Meeting 2 – September 8, 2016, 11:30am – 3:30pm. Agenda based on needs of community.
Meeting 3 – November 17, 2016, 11:30am – 4:30pm. STEM Resource Fair & Community of Practice in Action. Agenda based on needs of community.
Meeting 4 – April 20, 2017, 11:30am – 3:30pm. Community of Practice in Action. Agenda based on needs of communities
Site visit – Sept 2016 – March 2017. Host or attend at least one peer visit. Schools will showcase their community to one another at their sites. We encourage the entire team; however, communities will determine who makes the visit and what they learn about.
There are no fees to participate in the AZ STEM School community of practice. The commitments are your team’s time and commitment to the community of practice philosophy.
